We are looking for male & female singers, dancers, actors, comedians & rappers ages 8-adult.

Prepare:

One verse of an up tempo song, one verse of a ballad and a one minute contemporary monologue. Also prepare a rap if you are a skilled rapper.

Bring:

Accompaniment CD or Audio Cassette Tape without lead vocals
Pencil / Pen
A list of your special skills
(acrobatic tricks, juggling, pogo stick jumping, mime, magic etc.)

AWP (Atlanta Workshop Players) is casting 2 shows for a local tour that will run Sept 2007 - April 2008. Shows are one hour in length and 2, 3 or 4 shows are performed on any given day. The shows are triple cast to provide flexibility in scheduling. This allows for cast members to swing out of a particular performance if they are ill, have exams, get cast in a film or television project etc. Most shows perform during the day, at Metro area schools. The average performing schedule is 2 show days (6 performances) per month.

All positions are salaried.

Both shows are original musicals designed to educate, inspire, entertain and open the minds of young people. They are written to play on many levels and have a wide audience appeal. These shows offer the performer an opportunity to truly effect their audiences in positive ways:
