Meet AWP’s Head Honcho: Lynn Stallings

Lynn is a producer, director, casting consultant, on set acting coach and experienced talent manager in television and film.  She has performed in over 30 musicals and hundreds of commercials, voice overs, radio dramas, and talk shows. Lynn and her husband Don are published playwrights, writing for Stage and Television.

Lynn began as a professional dancer, studying with Luigi and the Martha Graham Company in New York City.  She also studied with Rowland Dupree in Los Angeles and the Dance Theatre Workshop in Chattanooga.  She was a featured dancer in the Bicentennial Ballet Company and performed in numerous concerts, musicals and revues.  Her theatrical training includes the University Theatre Program, the Academy Theatre, Theatre Atlanta and the Alliance Theatre School.  Lynn has taught at the University of Mississippi, Dance Theatre Workshop, the Alliance Theatre and is the founder and executive director of THE ATLANTA WORKSHOP PLAYERS professional theatre company. She is a published playwright and has written and produced 23 successful, family musicals.   Lynn is an acting coach and master teacher, as well as being a television, theatrical, commercial, and voice over talent.  She has performed in over 100 commercials, television shows, radio dramas and enjoyed the thrill of performing with elephants. She is an experienced Talent Manager and has been instrumental in launching many careers in film, television, and on Broadway.  Lynn is also a casting director and has directed and choreographed television commercials.


Meet AWP’s Registrar, Anna Adesanya!
 meAnna has over 20 years experience in the art and photography industries. She has curated art exhibits in New York, Pittsburgh and Frankfurt, Germany and has worked in publishing as a photo researcher, editor and buyer. Anna has produced numerous books as both photo editor and photographer and has worked for Time Magazine and This Old House Magazine. Anna utilizes her left and right brain skills in the office at AWP helping with anything from finances to graphic design. Her daughters are in their third year at AWP and say they have found a new home.

Meet AWP’s Magnificent Marketing Operations Manager, Matty Forde!


Matty is the newest addition to the AWP team. Quirky and super cool, Matty studied at the New York Conservatory of Dramatic Arts focusing on acting technique. When not performing on set Matty is an accomplished production designer, sound technician and stage manager for theater. He has been lucky enough to work in Fashion and film in NYC Hawaii and now with the AWPlayers here in Atlanta. Matty handles all the communication within AWP and AWPlayers Company. He makes sure to broadcast and market any workshops or events on the web. If you have any questions, feel free to shoot him an email!
Meet AWP’s Social Media Empress, Ashlyn Stallings
Ashlyn Stallings has been performing the majority of her life, a shy young thing, she used to only perform if nobody was looking. Her first live cabaret at age 5 she made the entire audience close their eyes during her performance! She is the graduate of a New York based Film Acting Conservatory and is an actor and dancer. Ashlyn is the proud daughter of two of the most creative, kind and talented human beings. Ashlyn believes she can do magic and is still waiting for her letter from Hogwarts. She is a lover of the arts, animals and fruit tarts. Keep an eye out on AWP’s Social Media for that’s where she spends her time as well as teaching various classes, directing, chaperoning trips, swag, assistant for the Make a Movie Make a Difference team and so much more!
