Penny Sweets is a devised piece of theater, written by Mary McBain in collaboration with a phenomenal group of teenagers. This script was created as a result of weekly workshops with the teens along with Lexi Klupchak and Anneke Ransijn. Penny Sweets also includes some original monologues written by the teenagers themselves. This play delves bravely into the issues faced on a day to day basis in and out of high school, and is a powerful reminder to make each day count while having a positive impact on the world. It’s a mixed bag of treats that will move, entertain and inspire you. What are you waiting for?! Grab your ticket now and come to see this original piece of theater on May 16th and May 18th in the wonderful new black box theater at the Atlanta Workshop Players Studio!
