YEAR ROUND ACTING CLASSES, DRAMA WORKSHOPS, SEMINARS, AND MASTER CLASSES

We have all experienced that almost unbearable surge of excitement when we wanted to sing, to dance, to laugh, to cry, those uncounted moments when life was glorious and our imaginations were limitless! The Atlanta Workshop Players train and inspire the student who wishes to pursue a career as entertainer or one who simply wishes to develop a love and appreciation for the arts.

Atlanta Workshop Players provides children ages 6-18 with exciting, fun, and challenging acting/drama classes which help build character and improve social skills. Beginner thru Professional levels.

PERFORMING ARTS SUMMER CAMP DESTINY 2010

This performing arts camp goes way beyond acting! AWP’s Summer Camp curriculum pumps up the fun quotient with Shows, On-Camera Acting, many Styles of Dance, Improv, Classical Theatre, Acrobatics, Circus Arts, Video Projects, Special FX Makeup, Stage Combat, Pratt Falls and other wildly explosive shenanigans. Students come from all corners of the globe to partake in the “Destiny” experience, sharing their talents and being mentored by Nationally known Master instructors. Advanced performers will have the opportunity to audition for Top Agents and Casting Directors.

AWP  TOUR  SHOW

The Atlanta Workshop Players produce original musicals, book shows, and musical revues that are performed in hundreds of schools, resorts, in theatres and for special events. The exciting performers have extensive experience in professional TV / Film and Theatre. The shows are designed to appeal to all ages, and send positive social, environmental, and educational messages. The presentations are packaged in a exuberant performance vehicle that enlightens, entertains, educates, and inspires the audience. The side effects are laughter and an expanded mind! Dynamic * Energetic * Educational * Touching * Thought-provoking and often humorous!

The Creative Explosion is on!! That’s right. AWP will do a talent search to find the most dedicated, talented, hard working, joyful kids and teens......who want to enhance their careers with professional training, performing AND networking opportunitities!!! Company members will:

• Train intensively on weekends
• Perform in two full productions per year
• Have a private showcase performance for Casting Directors & Agents
• Be offered Free and discounted Master’s Series Workshops throughout the year.
