Atlanta Workshop Players School of Acting Curriculum

AWP offers the Actor’s Track & Pro-Track course.  AWP’s Actor’s Track is designed to exercise creativity and develop a love and appreciation for the arts in an exciting, joyful atmosphere. The Atlanta Workshop Players Pro Track trains and inspires the serious student who wishes to pursue a career as a performer. Pro Track classes are application-only. Download the application. All classes follow the traditional school year calendar and are held at AWP’s Studio of the Arts.

Tuition information, 2012/2013 School Year:

Fee Schedule:

  • 1 Hour Class per week – $58/month
  • 1 & 1/2 Hour Class per week – $82/month
  • 2 Hour Class per week – $120/month,
  • Apprentice Company (3 hrs/week minimum) $165/month
  • Senior Company (5 hrs/week minimum) $225/month
  • Professional Company (5 hrs/week minimum) $225/month
  • Film School Conservatory (2 days a week, minimum) $225/month
  • Film School AND Company $350/month (4 days a week) ($100 savings)
  • Screen Writers Workshop/Sitcom Writing (12 weeks) $120/month x 3 months
  • Performer 2 Pro (10 hour course) $225 includes student & parent
  • Work Like An Actor, Live Like A King (2 & 1/2 hr workshop) $55
  • Winter Camp Tuition:$199

Additional Fees:

  • $35 Registration Fee per family per year
  • $50 Production Fee per family per year, for all Theatre Production, Advanced Teen Improv and Voices Project classes only.
  • $100 Annual Production fee due for Film School Conservatory , Apprentice, Senior & Professional Company.  DUE in January

Additional Application & Recommendations required for Pro-Track students

Those accepted as Pro-Track students are eligible for industry networking opportunities, and optional trips to LA & NYC.
